The Famous Maurice Flea Circus

Once the best flea circus in town, hard times have fallen on The Famous Maurice Flea Circus. In a story of adventure and discovery, these fleas must fight tooth and nail just to keep bums on seats, and the show MUST go on!

Featuring bumbling strong men, egotistical acrobats, sly jugglers, death defying antics and comic mayhem, will the fleas make it to the end of the show, or is this the final curtain call?

A trio of Melbourne-based entertainers use circus skills, shadow puppetry and physical comedy to bring you a world of flea fun and imagination.

Technical Specifications

• The show is 50 minutes long.
• Suitable for families of all ages. Kids aged 3-14 have the best response.
• 3 performers.
• Requires rigging point and rigger for Chinese pole.
• We require a stage at least 6x4 metres (absolute minimum) and 4-6 metres high for Chinese pole.
• Need a lighting/sound operator.
• General wash with follow spot minimum lighting. Specials and extra parcan’s would be ideal.
• Requires bump in. Once rigging set, we can have a changeover time of 20 minutes as long as pole can stay rigged.
